To prevent accidents stop the engine disconnect the spark plug
lead before attempting to carry out maintenance procedures on
the mower.

Throttle Cable Adjustment

Loosen the outer cable clamp screw (1) and move the governor control
lever (2) as far back as possible. Move the throttle control lever to the
'fast' position and re-tighten the outer cable clamp screw.

Carburettor Adjustments

Should only be made by an authorised Briggs & Stratton dealer. Under
no circumstances should the engine be adjusted to run at a speed in
excess of that shown on the Declaration of Conformity.
