Part I: Security System Basics

Using the Keypad

Your security system provides quick access to functions by
COMMAND
pressing the
(0 to 9) keys.
Another way to access functions is through the Menu List.
This is done by pressing the key adjacent to Menu> shown in
the display. For the rest of the manual, these are referred to as
"soft key," meaning that their function changes depending on
the screen displayed.
Pressing the key adjacent to <Previous or Next> while in the
Menu List allows you to scroll up or down through the list of
functions programmed by your security company.
Pressing the key adjacent to the function being displayed
initiates the function.

For example, if Reset Sensors?> is being displayed, pressing
the soft key adjacent to this will begin the function.
To exit the Menu List, press the <Exit soft key.
Use the Menu List to locate functions you don't use often or
that don't have a command number.
