Coding the Meter

Make sure the meter
is off.
Turn the meter over,
remove the old code key
(if there is one in the
meter) and discard it.

Change the code key every time a new test strip box is opened! For accurate results, it is important to be
sure the code key matches the code number on the test strip container.
nOTE
• If you see code and a flashing ‑ ‑ ‑ on the display, insert a code key into the meter.
• Do not force the code key into the meter. There is only one correct way to insert the code key.

Turn the code key over so
the code number faces
down.
Push the code key into the
code key slot until it stops.
Leave the code key in the
meter until a new test strip
box is opened.
