Storing a number in the directory

Change multiple line input:
Number
Enter the number.
Name
Enter name.
Quick Dial:
Select number key for quick dial.

Save the changes.
Please note:
– To find out how to enter IP addresses, turn to page 32.
– If you want to dial a certain number using the same line connection each time, you can add the
relevant line suffix to the number in question (page 31).
– If you add a star (*) at the end of the number, the number will be dialled via the non-standard
connection (page 116), even if you press and release the c talk key. On condition that no dial-
ling plan has been defined for the number (page 149).
– You can use the Web configurator to save the directory to a file on your PC, where it can be edited
and then sent back to the handset (page 157). Or you can transfer Outlook contacts from the PC
to the handset's directory.

Order of directory entries
The directory entries are usually sorted in alphabetical order. Spaces and digits take first
priority. The sort order is as follows:
1. Space
2. Digits (0–9)
3. Letters (alphabetical)
4. Other characters
To get round the alphabetical order of the entries, insert a space or a digit in front of the
name. These entries will then move to the beginning of the directory. Names that you have
prefixed with a star will move to the end of the directory.
