Turn off all other equipment before making this connection.
! Headphones
" Before plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the
volume.
" Be sure your headphones have a 3.5 mm (1/8") diameter plug
and impedance between 16 and 50 ohms. The recommended
impedance is 32 ohms.
" Plugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automati-
cally. Adjust the volume using the volume control.

Note:
The LINE IN/OUT sockets accept 2.5 mm (3/32") mini plugs
only.
Use the supplied 3.5 mm (1/8") to 2.5 mm (3/32") plug
adaptor. (Only one plug adaptor is supplied with the unit.)

! Connecting source equipment
You can listen to sound of source equipment through the unit. Set
the function to "AUX" beforehand.
! Connecting recording equipment
You can record sound of the unit to recording equipment. Use an
audio cable for connection.
Notes:
" Plug in each cable fully to prevent noise interference.
" Refer to the manual for the connected equipment.
" Do not connect the input and output sockets to the same external
equipment. Howling may result.
" To prevent noise interference, place the unit away from the tele-
vision.
