The tone level can be varied within a range of
Turn [BASS] to adjust the low-frequency sound.
Turn [TREBLE] to adjust the high-frequency
sound.
Note
The effect works only with playback. It cannot be used in recording.
Hints
Place speakers on stands (not included) to reproduce clearer low-
range sounds.
The sound virtualizer leaves middle-range sounds such as vocals
clear and gives natural width and depth to music.
Sound virtualizer is effective with stereo sound.

When listening through headphones, the effect is less discernable
than through the unit's speakers.
If interference in FM stereo reception increases, cancel the sound
virtualizer effect.
This feature is convenient when you have a telephone call, etc.
Press [MUTING].
Press the button again to cancel. ("MUTING" goes out.)
Muting can also be cancelled by lowering the volume all the way
(-- dB).
When the system is turned off, the muting operation will be automati-
cally cancelled.

1. Press [AUX].
2. Start playback from the external source. (Refer to your equip-
ment's operating instructions.)

Reduce the volume level, and connect the headphones.

Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent hearing
damage.
When using L-plug headphones (not included), turn the plug to the
right when inserting into the system.
