Setting the Answering Mode From Another Phone Line
If your answering machine has been set to off, you can turn the system
on from another telephone line.
1. Call your phone from another touch tone phone. After 20 rings, the
phone answers the call and announces "Please call back later. Thank
you for your call."
2. While your phone is playing the message, press
correct RCC number.
Note: You can enter the answering mode to select the greeting
message, and to listen to or delete any recorded messages.
See page 78.
3. Hang up the phone. Your phone is now set to the answering mode.
Note: If the phone memory is full, you cannot turn the answering mode
from the remote phone. Your phone does not answer your call.
