Check the display. If the name or
number shown is correct, press the
START/MEMORY key. (If not,
press the STOP key and then
repeat Step 2.)

Direct Keypad Dialling
You can also enter a full number with
the number keys and then press the
START/MEMORY key to begin
dialling. You can use this method to
dial a full number when you don't
need to speak to the other party
before faxing.
Note: Direct Keypad Dialling cannot
be used to dial a number within the
same PBX as your fax machine. To
send a document to a fax machine in
your PBX, use Normal Dialling.

Load the document(s).

Enter the number of the receiving
machine by pressing the numeric
keys.

If a pause is required between any
of the digits to access a special
service or an outside line, press the
REDIAL key. The pause will
appear as a hyphen. Several
pauses can be entered in a row.

Check the display. If the number of
the receiving machine shown is
correct, press the START/
MEMORY key.

If it is not correct, press the STOP
key to backspace and clear one
digit at a time, and then re-enter
the correct digit(s).
Using the SEARCH/R key
If you don't remember the Rapid Key
or Speed Dial number in which you
have stored a particular fax number,
you can search for the number by
following the steps below. Once you
have found the number, you can dial
it and transmit the loaded document
by simply pressing the START/
MEMORY key.
