09 Using the tape deck
If you want to record the tracks in a different
order, or record only one track, use the
program play feature—see page 28 for how to
make a program list. Make sure playback is
stopped, then press PGM (SHIFT+1) before
going to the next step.
4 Press ASES (front panel) to start
recording.
The ASES REC indicator lights, followed by a 4
second pause while the tape winds past the
leader, then recording starts.
Recording finishes automatically when the end
of the disc is reached, or the tape ends
(whichever comes first).
5 If you want to stop recording before the
end of the CD, press

• If you find that you're getting noisy
recordings from an AM radio station, see
Optional system settings on page 48 to
change the beat cut mode.
