CANISTER
1. Open the canister hood.
2. Check to see that the dust bag is proper-
ly installed. See BAG CHANGING for
instructions.
3. Check to see that the motor safety filter is
properly installed. See MOTOR SAFETY
FILTER CHANGING for instructions.
HOOD AND TOOL
STORAGE COVER
It is normal for the canister hood and tool
storage cover to come off when opened fur-
ther than needed. Line up the hinge slots,
insert the hinges into the slots, and close
the hood and tool storage cover to reinstall.
CAUTION
Never open canister hood with the tool
storage cover open. This will help to
prevent damage from occurring to the
canister hood and/or tool storage cover.
HANDI-MATE JR.
This canister is equipped with an on-board
storage area for a Handi-Mate Jr. ® attach-
ment.
To Install:
Open the Handi-Mate Jr. ® storage cover.
Insert the Handi-Mate Jr. ® , press down into
place, and close the lid securely.
To Remove:
Open the storage cover. Remove Handi-
Mate Jr. ® from the storage area and use as
needed (see ATTACHMENTS and ATTACH-
MENT USE TABLE).

To store: Disconnect hose from wands and
canister to prevent stress on hose during
storage. Store hose in a loosely coiled
position so the hose covering is not
stressed.

RANGEMENT DU POWER-MATE
La rallonge inférieure a

avant du traîneau.
Le fente permet le rangement des rallonges et du
Power-Mate ® avec le traîneau pour conserver de l'e-
space. Il faut alors ranger le
traîneau verticalement.
Pour utiliser la rallonge, la sortir de la fente et la
remettre dans la fente pour le rangement.
Le Power-Mate ® doit être à plat comme démontré
dans l'illustration ci-contre. Se servir de la pédale de
relâchement du manche dans cette position.
COMMENT FONCTIONNE L'ASPIRATEUR
L'aspirateur crée une succion qui ramasse la saleté. L'air
qui se déplace rapidement transporte la saleté jus-
qu'au sac à poussière à travers les passages d'écou-
lement d'air. Le sac à poussière laisse l'air passer à
travers, tout en captant la saleté.
Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats de nettoya-
ge, garder le passage d'écoulement d'air li-
bre. Vérifier à l'occasion les endroits mar-
qués d'un astérisque pour y relever
d'éventuelles obstructions.
Débrancher l'appareil avant de ver-
ifier la circulation d'air.

® DISPOSITIF DE BLOCAGE
POUR ESCALIERS
Durant le
fonctionnement
normal lorsque
l'aspirateur est
en position
horizontale, la
roulette tourne
librement 360°.
Le blocage permet à la roulette de se
verrouiller quand l'appareil est tourné à 25°
de l'horizontale vers la verticale afin que
l'aspirateur puisse reposer sur les marches.
