OPERATING PROCEDURES

Shown below is the keyboard layout of the AD equipment.

Monitor Selection

1. Select the desired monitor by pressing the Numeric
keys, then press the MONITOR key.
For example, press 1, then press the MONITOR key
to select monitor 1.

Camera Selection

1. Select the desired monitor referring to the Monitor
Selection.
2. Select the desired camera address by pressing the
Numeric keys, then press the CAMERA key.
For example, press 1, then press the CAMERA key
to select camera 1 on the selected monitor.

Controlling System Accessories

Lens Control
1. Select the desired camera referring to the Camera
Selection.
2. Press the FOCUS NEAR/FAR keys to adjust the
lens focus to obtain a sharply focused picture while
observing the monitor.
Select 1 by pressing the Numeric key, then press
the AUXILIARY ON key to adjust the lens focus
automatically, if you are using the specified camera
with auto focus feature.
3. Press the ZOOM WIDE/TELE keys to adjust the lens
zoom to obtain the desired picture while observing
the monitor.

AD2078 Series Keyboard Layout
Press the TELE key to optically bring an object clos-
er.
Pressing the WIDE key has the reverse effect.
4. Press the IRIS CLOSE/OPEN keys to close or open
the lens iris.
Adjust the lens iris by using the keys to obtain the
proper picture exposure.
Pan/Tilt Control (Manual Operation)
1. Select the desired camera referring to the Camera
Selection.
2. Move the Joystick Controller to move the pan/tilt
head in the desired direction.
Pan/Tilt Control (Auto Panning Operation)
The following functions are available only with cameras
that have auto panning functions, such as the
Panasonic WV-CS600 series and when the DIP switch is
set to CAM position.
1. Select the desired camera referring to the Camera
Selection.
2. Select 2 by pressing the Numeric key, then press
the AUXILIARY ON key to activate the auto panning
function.
3. To cancel the auto panning function, select 2 by
pressing the Numeric key, then press the AUXIL-
IARY OFF key.
Note: If the AUTO MODE is selected to activate the
camera, make sure to select LOCAL for the
LOCAL/REMOTE parameter.
