INSTALLATIONS

The installations described below should be made
by qualified service personnel or system installers.

DIP Switch Setting (On the Board)

Caution: Before disassembling the Data Converter, be
sure to turn off the Power Switch of the Data
Converter.
1. Remove the six screws on the top panel of the Data
Converter as shown below.
2. Remove the top panel.
The DIP switches are located on the board as
shown below.

3. Set the switch (SW2) on the board to match the sync
input signal supplied to the VS/VD Input Connector
(VS/VD IN), if applicable.
Initially, VS position is selected at the factory.
Note: 2nd switch is provid-
ed as reserve.
4. Set the switches (SW902 and SW952) on the board
to choose the camera or receiver command for
Coaxial cameras when the AUXILIARY key is
pressed.
CAM: Set this position to control a camera with pre-
set positions function, such as the WV-CS600
series.
RECV: Set this position to control cameras other
than the above.
Note: Wiper/Defroster (WIP/DEF) or Auxiliary Switch
(AUX) selector is only valid
position is set.
Initially, CAM position is selected at the factory.
5. Set the switches (SW3) on the board to choose the
camera or receiver command for RS485 cameras
when the AUXILIARY key is pressed, and to set the
Baud Rate for communication.
Initially, CAM position and 19 200 bps position are
selected at the factory.

6. After setting the switches, secure them by tightening
the screws shown above.
