You can store up to 100 points you want to remember in your point mem-
ory. Each stored point is memorized with its name and icon, and shown
on the map. You can rename the marked points and change their icons.
Warning:
Stop your vehicle before the following operations.

Marking Your Current Position

Display the Current Position Map, and
press POP UP.
Select [Marked Point] by moving the joystick, and press ENTER.

Marking Any Point on the Map

Place the crosshairs cursor on the
point you want to mark on the map,
and press POP UP.
Select [Marked Point] by moving the joystick, and press ENTER.
Name and Icon
Each stored point is memorized with its name and icon, and shown on
the map. You can rename the marked points and change their icons
(a page 44).
* If the same point is stored in "Marking Your Current Position" above, it is registered
in one local name on the list. If the same point is stored in different processes, for
example, as in "Marking Your Current Position" and "Marking Any Point on the
Map", two local names, identical with each other, will be shown on the list.
