The system allows you to choose an alternative route to the same desti-

nation in one of the following four ways.

A search is made for routes other than that displayed. Up to three routes

can be searched for, including the one currently displayed.

A search is made for a route that detours the original route by a distance

you specify. To specify the distance, see page 50.

Important Note:

The detour may be longer than the distance you specified.

• Alternative Route

• Detour xxKm

Press POP UP.

Select [Detour] by moving the joystick,

and press ENTER.

Select [Alt Route], and press ENTER.

a Up to three routes, including the

current one, are displayed.

Select a route by moving the joystick,

and press ENTER.

Press POP UP.

Select [Detour] by moving the joystick,

and press ENTER.

Select [Detour xxKm], and press

ENTER.

• Avoid Streets

• Via Point

a A detour route of the specified dis-

tance is displayed. The [Detour

xxKm] item in the menu shows the

distance you specified.
