Call Answer Mode

Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone: whether
you want to be required to press
key, or simply to open the phone.
1.
Press > Settings > More... > Call Setup >
Call Answer.
2.
Select Talk Key, Any Key, or Flip Open.
Side Key Guard
This feature enables you to lock external keys while the phone
is closed.
1.
Press > Settings > More... > Side Key Guard.
2.
Select On or Off.
This feature does not apply when the phone is open.
Note
You can deactivate this feature temporarily by pressing
Tip
and holding the volume key while the phone is closed.
, to press any number

Setting Abbreviated Dialing

To activate the Contacts Match feature:
1.
Press > Settings > More... > Call Setup.
2.
Select Contacts Match > On.
To activate the Prepend feature:
1.
Press > Settings > More... > Call Setup >
Abbrev. Dial.
2. Select Prepend > On.
3.
Enter the first five- or six-digit prefix in the Prepend# field
and then press OK (left softkey).
To deactivate this feature, select Off during step 2 above.
This setting does not apply to 911.
