Improving Print Quality

Cause
Possible causes
include:
• Paper is not the
proper size.
• Paper is not loaded
properly in the tray.
• The fusing unit
requires replace-
ment.
The paper loaded in
the tray is damp.
The paper being used
is not compatible with
the printer.
The fusing unit
requires replacement.
The print parameters
and paper settings of
the application soft-
ware are different
from the settings on
the control panel.
The printer was in
Power Save mode
when the print com-
mand was issued.
The printer setting
was for color transpar-
ency (transparency
sheet) or thick paper
printing.
The amount of mem-
ory installed is not
sufficient to process
the print data.
