Gb LAN Enable/Disable
Use jumper JD3 to enable or dis-
able the Gb LAN port on the
motherboard (see Figure 2-3 for
location.) Refer to the table on the
right for jumper settings. The de-
fault setting is enabled.
VGA Enable/Disable
JP4 allows you to enable or disable
the VGA port. The default position
is on pins 1 and 2 to enable VGA.

Power Supply Alarm
Enable/Disable (JP9) &
(JP36)
Alarm Reset
The system will notify you in the
event of a power supply failure.
This
feature
Supermicro redundant power sup-
ply units are installed in the chas-
sis.
If you only have a single
power supply installed, you should
disable this (the default setting)
with JP9 to prevent false alarms.

SCSI Enable/Disable
(X5DPL-8GM)
Use the SCSI termination jumper at
JP22 to enable or disable the
onboard SCSI controller. The nor-
mal (default) position is on pins 1-
2 (enabled). See the table on the
right for jumper settings.
