Notes
1. The Room Station provides power for the electric door strike.
2. one extra pair of wires is required between the door and the Room Station.
This method eliminates the need to provide a dedicated power supply for the electric
door strike.

Notes
1. The electric door strike is unlocked by a pair of dry relay contacts at the door Station.
2. A dedicated power supply is required for the electric door strike.
3. If the door strike power supply is located near the front door then only 4 wires are
required between the door and the Room Station.
4. This method provides lower security as the door strike can be operated by short-
circuiting the kEy1 & kEy2 wires at the back of the door station.
