ELECTRICALWIRING INFORMATION
Thisapplianceis equipped witha grounded t ypepower cord, A grounded
outlet mustbeprovided, tt is recommended, forconvenience, theoutlet be
located (with reference tofigure6) as inA or B, below:
A. If no other applianceis to beinstalledbelowthis appliance: w ithineither
the shadedarea or the crosshatchedarea shown infigure6.
B. If a Model J JW8530,JJW9530, W 27100X, W 30400Por W132Xelectric
ovenisto be installed belowthis appliance,either:
1. within the crosshatchedarea of figure6, or,
2. within an adjacentcabinet.
If a wall oven isto be installed belowthis applianceand the counterunit's
outlet isto be mountedwithinthe crosshatchedarea of figure6:
1. The cabinet's lower front panel, below the oven, must be made
removable for accessto the outlet.
2. A clearancehole for the powercord's plug (1-1/4" (3.18 cm) dia is
recommended) m ustbe providedthroughtheoven'sfloor supportshelf
and,if necessary, throughthe slatssupporting the shelf.Theclearance
hole shouldbe locatedas near as practical t o the rear of the shelf.
3. When modelJJW8530,JJW9530,W27100X, W 30400Por W132Xare
mountedbelowthis appliance,andif the poweroutletforthis appliance
isto be locatedin the crosshatched area offigure6, it isrecommended
the powercordberoutedthroughtheexternalverticat c learance channel
atthe left rearoftheoven.Thechannel'scrosssectionisapproximately
4.2" x 2.25" (10.7x 5.7 cm), extendingthefull heightof the oven.
If the outlet is to be mountedin eithera left or right adjacentcabinet,a
clearancehole,as describedabove,mustbe providedin the dividingwall
betweenthe cabinets. Figure4; page 4, illustrates a typical (left side)
dividingwatt.Theclearancehole(not shownin figure4) canbe locatedas
is convenientin this left wall or in the corresponding rightwall.
In planningany installation,notethat the free length of this appliance's
powercord, extendingbeyonda point3-3/4" (9.53cm) left of the nominal
centerof the rearwall of the burnerbox,whenviewedfromthe front of the
unit, is approximately 46" (117cm).
