INSTALLATION
DUCTLESS CONVERSION
Ductless conversion i sintended for applications where anexhaust duct workis notpossible to be
installed. When converted, thehood functions asa "purifying" h ood rather than anexhaust hood,
Fumes a ndexhaust fromconking aredrawn and filtered bya setofoptional Carbon Filters. Theair
isthenpurified a ndre-circulated back within thehome.
Werecommend toALWAYS exhaust airoutside o fthehome byemploying existing o r installing
newduct work,ifpossible. Thehood ismosteffective a nd efficient asanExhaust unit. O nlywhen
the exhaust option isnotpossible should you recourse toconverting thehood intoa "purifying"unit.
When converted tobea "purifying"unit, a Carbon Filters Kitisrequired. Order according to itsPart
number below. Thestandard M etal F ilters a reintended tocapture r esidue f romcooking a nd the
optional Carbon Filters h elptopurify f umesexhausted from cooking for re-circulation.
