After confirmation of the previous setting, the actual volume (left) and mel-
ody (right) for internal calls appear; e.g.:

Press the scroll-keys
numeric key for choosing the melody (1 – 5). Example for volume 1 and
melody 4:
Press P to save the input values.

The program automatically continues with the setting of date and time, as
described in the next chapter.

Setting date and time

Remark:
This setting is only possible after having made the setting described in the pre-
vious chapters.
You can input the actual time and date. Only if you do so, date and time will ap-
pear in the CID – list, indicating when a call entered. When the telephone op-
erator transmits date and time, the actual values will be set by the first incoming
call.

(right) appear on display and the first digit of the date blinks; e.g.:

choosing the position to overwrite. The numeric keys allow overwriting date
and time; e.g.:
Press P to save the input values.

The program automatically continues with the setting of the dialing mode,
as described in the next chapter.

The handset returns to stand-by mode by pressing the "hang-up" – key
Remark:
If a handset is not registered to a base, the programming mode stops after the
setting of date and time, and the handset returns to stand-by. All further de-
scribed settings are only possible with a handset, registered to a Spirit 100
base.
