    Habits – good and bad – are hard to break. Like all power tools, there is danger asso- ciated with the Model G8749 Drum/Flap Sander. Accidents are frequently caused by lack of familiarity or failure to pay atten- tion.

    SECTION 2: CIRCUIT REQUIREMENTS 110V Operation The Model G8749 is wired for 110V, single phase operation. Figure 1 depicts the typical grounded receptacle which should be used.     The Sander can be temporarily mounted by using bolts with wing nuts. The Sander must be secure- ly mounted because sanding forces can be signif- icant and could cause the sanding machine to move.

    Failure to do so could result in serious operator injury. -12- Mounting Sleeves The Sander is supplied with two different sizes of inflatable drums, one 4 ⁄ " in diameter. To remove the sleeve, first de- inflate the rubber drum by pressing on the plunger in the center of the air valve with a nail or paper clip.
