Resetting

If the unit does not operate properly after the battery has been replaced, or if at
any time the unit fails to operate properly;
1. Press the "RESET" button on the front of the
unit. (This will reset the time display.)
2. The message "

The contrast adjustment display will appear. (See page 50.)
Warning! Pressing the reset button with more than light pressure may permanently
disable your unit. In addition, resetting the unit erases settings and information you
may have entered.
This unit may change operating modes, lose information stored in memory, or fail to respond due to
electrostatic discharge or electrical fast transients. Normal operation of this unit may be re-estab-
lished by pressing the reset key, by pressing ON/OFF, or by removing and replacing the batteries.
