How to Begin Here is how to start using your Oxford Children’s Thesaurus . 1. Turn your thesaurus over. 2. Remove its battery cover. 3. Insert four LR03 batteries (AAA batteries) into the battery compartment. Use the battery diagram in the battery compartment to insert batteries. - Page 6 How to Find Thesaurus Entries Each thesaurus entry can contain synonyms, re- lated words, and references to other thesaurus entries. How to Play the Games This thesaurus has four word games that you can play. Hangman challenges you to guess a mys- tery word, indicated by ?’s, by typing its let- ters one at a time. 1. Press GAMES 2.
