FRONT AND REAR BRAKES

DISASSEMBLING THE BRAKE CALIPER

1.Remove:
Brake caliper piston
G
Dust seal
G
Caliper piston seal
G
*****************************************************
Removal steps:
G
Blow compressed air into the hose joint
opening a to force out the caliper piston
from the brake caliper body.
WARNING
Never try to pry out the caliper piston.
G
Cover the caliper piston with a rag. Be
G
careful not to get injured when the piston
is expelled from the master cylinder.
G
Remove the caliper piston seals.

DISASSEMBLING THE REAR BRAKE
CALIPER
1.Remove:
Brake caliper piston
G
Dust seals
G
Caliper piston seals
G
*****************************************************
Removal steps:
G
Secure the left side brake caliper piston with
a peace of wood a.
G
Blow compressed air into the hose joint
opening b to force out the caliper piston
from the brake caliper body.
WARNING
Never try to pry out the caliper piston.
G
Do not loose the bolt
G
G
Remove the caliper piston seals.
