    For optimal performance, the BassX-8, BassX-10 or BassX-12 should be placed in a corner along the same wall as the front speakers. The unit is shielded, so it is safe to place near video devices.   • Page 6 Connecting the Speaker Wires (See Diagram 4) Follow these instructions when using the Speaker Level Outputs of your receiver or amplifier to connect to the BassX-8, BassX-10 or BassX-12. For best results, use speaker wire that is at least 18 gauge. For runs longer than 75 feet, 14 gauge wire is recommended.

    TROUBLESHOOTING The BassX-8, BassX-10 and BassX-12 are designed to function trouble-free. Most problems occur due to operating errors. If you have a problem, please check the troubleshooting list first. If the problem persists, please call Tech Support at 1-800-448-0976 or e-mail us at techsupport@speakercraft.com.

    SpeakerCraft or the SpeakerCraft Authorized Dealer will, at its option, repair or replace this product at no additional charge, except as set forth below.
