To   c all   f rom   y our   S IP   c lient   ( i.e.   I P   P BX)   t hrough   t he   G ateway   t o   t he   c ellular   n etwork:  
1) On   t he   M ain   T oolbar,   c lick   M onitor.  
2) Send   a   c all   f rom   y our   S IP   t o   t he   G ateway.  
3) Check   t he   m onitor   t o   s ee   t hat   t he   n umber   w as   d ialed   c orrectly   a nd   t he   c all   w as   c onnected.  
Troubleshooting  
In   c ase   t he   c all   w as   n ot   c onnected,   c heck   t he   f ollowing:  
Confirm   t hat   t he   n umber   w as   c ompatible   w ith   t he   n etwork   b y   d ialing   t his   n umber   d irectly   f rom  
your   m obile   p hone.  
If   y ou   s ee   t hat   t he   n umber   i s   n ot   a ccepted,   r econfigure   t he   p ort   p refix   t able   t o   a llow   t his  
number.   S ee   P refix   C onfiguration   ( Call   H andling)   o n   p age   1 5.  
If   t he   c all   i s   n ot   d isplayed   o n   t he   m onitor:  
Change   t he   p refix   o f   t his   p ort   t o   *   a nd   r etry.  
If   t he   c all   i s   a ccepted   b ut   n ot   c onnected   -­‐   r econfigure   t he   p ort   p refix   a nd   r etry.  
If   t he   c all   i s   s till   n ot   d isplayed   -­‐   c heck   t hat   t his   p refix   i s   n ot   a ssigned   t o   a nother   p ort   ( i.e.   V oIP,  
H323,   H ost).   I f   s o,   r econfigure   t hat   p ort's   p refix   s o   i t   d oes   n ot   c onflict   a nd   r etry.  
If   t he   c all   i s   s till   n ot   d isplayed   -­‐   c heck   t hat   t he   S IP   p orts   a re   f orwarded   t o   t he   G ateway,  
specifically   p ort   5 060   t o   6 066.  
If   t he   c all   i s   c onnected   b ut   t here   i s   n o   a udio:  
Check   t hat   t he   p orts   a re   f orwarded   t o   t he   G ateway,   s pecifically   p ort   5 060   t o   6 066.  
Check   t he   a udio   d irectly   w ith   a   S IP   p hone   b y   b ypassing   t he   I P   P BX.  
Testing   a   p ort   w ith   a   V oIP   p hone  
Perform   t he   f ollowing   t est   t o   e nsure   t hat   y our   a udio   i s   f unctional   b y   b ypassing   t he   p ublic   I P.  
To   r egister   a   V oIP   p hone   i n   t he   G ateway   :  
1) Open   t he   V oIP   p hone   c onfiguration.  
2) Configure   t he   V oIP   p hone   a ccording   t o   t he   f ollowing   p arameters:  
The   S IP   S erver   I P   A ddress   -­‐   t he   I P   a ddress   o f   t he   G ateway  
The   U ser   I D   ( optional)   -­‐     t he   d efined   u ser   n ame   f or   t his   S IP   c lient  
The   A uthentication   P assword   ( optional)   -­‐   t he   d efined   p assword   f or   t his   S IP   c lient  
3) Save   t he   c onfiguration   s ettings.  
To   c all   f rom   y our   V oIP   p hone   t hrough   t he   G ateway   t o   c ellular   n etwork:  
1) In   t he   p ort   y ou   w ish   t o   u se,   c onfigure   t he   p refix   t o   * .   S ee   P refix   C onfiguration   ( Call   H andling)   o n  
page   1 5.  
2) Dial   t he   n umber   o f   t he   m obile   p hone.  
The   c all   i s   r outed   t o   t he   m obile   p hone   t hrough   t he   p ort.  
3) Check   t hat   t he   a udio   i n   t he   l ocal   n etwork   i s   f unctional.  
If   s o,   t hen   t he   G ateway   i s   f unctional   a nd   t he   a udio   p roblem   i s   c aused   b ecause   p orts   5 060   t o   6 066  
are   n ot   a ccessible   f rom   t he   p ublic   I P.   C heck   y our   I P   s ettings.
