High and Low Blood Sugar Readings:
Your meter has been preset with a hypoglycemic
(low blood sugar) value of 70 mg/dL and a hyper-
glycemic (high blood sugar) value of 250 mg/dL.
These are the default values, but can be customized
by you and/or your healthcare professional using
the GLUCOFACTS
computer. See the GLUCOFACTS DELUXE User
Guide for assistance.
Low Blood Sugar
If your blood sugar reading is under 70 mg/dL:
•
A screen with large
orange numbers will
alert you that your blood
sugar is low.
High Blood Sugar
If your blood sugar reading is over 250 mg/dL:
•
A screen with large
orange numbers will
alert you that your blood
sugar is high.
•
If AutoLog is on and you were not able to mark
it before the high or low alert appeared, press
the Notes button. You may now select
Meal,
After Meal or No Mark by pressing the
