in copy mode had jagged edges. While the half-
tones showed good separation, they were pixi-
lated and grainy.

eight readings corresponding to eight different
locations on the original):

Range, 1.65 to 1.70 (on a scale of 0 to 2.5, with
2.5 being as dark as would be possible under
most circumstances).
Copier Productivity
Copying speeds: (8-1/2" x 11" copies):
First-copy time from the document feeder:
11.75 seconds (time was the same regardless of
whether automatic exposure selection was on or
off).
