Multi-Connector Cable
The supplied multi-connector cable is required in order to maintain the camera's IP rating.
Connect the multi-connector cable to the camera's multi-connector and to the connectors in the supplied media converter switch,
see page 6 .
The cable provides the following signals:
• DC power to camera
• Network (Ethernet 10/100Base-T)
• Input/Output (I/O)

Notes
Digital input – Connect to pin 8 to activate, or
leave floating (unconnected) to deactivate.
Digital output – Connected to pin 1 when
activated, floating (unconnected) when
deactivated. If used with an inductive load, e.g. a
relay, a diode must be connected in parallel with
the load, for protection against voltage transients.
