If you use the AXIS 200+
in a low light environment
the image might be noisy.

rectly.

rectly.

Ensure that the modem is set for RTS/CTS serial communi-
cation.
Disable Local echo mode using the command is ATE0.

command AT&W.
To solve the problem, turn the AXIS 200+ to avoid the
reflexes. By replacing the basic lens with a lens with an iris,
you can eliminate the problem. Lenses with both manual
and automatic Iris are available.
Basic lens: Point the camera to a distant object. Turn the
smaller lens to the bottom position. Loosen the lock ring
(the biggest ring). Adjust the focus by rotating the entire
lens mount. When focus is found, lock the position with the
lock ring. Close up focus can be obtained by rotating the
smaller lens outwards.
C lens: When using a C-mount lens (Flange back 17.5mm),
make sure that you use a 0.2in (5mm) C-mount (C-lens)
adapter. The AXIS 200+ uses CS-standard (Flange back =
12.5mm)
Zoom lens: The focus must be adjusted with the zoom lens
set to maximum Zoom and the focus set to Infinity. If using
C-mount lens, do not forget the 0.2 in (5mm) adapter.
To solve this problem, you need more light. The perfor-
mance of the camera is best in 100 - 1.000 lux. By replacing
the basic lens with a more sensitive lens (Lower F-number),
the problem can be reduced.
Refer to page 35 for information on how to set the White
balance.
Within the display properties, configure your display to show
at least 65'000 colors, i.e. at least 16-bit.
Using only 16 or 256 colors on your computer will produce
dithering artifacts in the image.
Auto iris lens: Check that the iris on the lens is open. Check
that the Iris cable is connected.
