Recording Operation

DVR settings(In DTV Mode)
DVR function allows the unit to record live DTV programs, allowing viewing on demand at any time.
DVR will only record when there is an external USB drive connected to the unit with sufficient
memory space available. Recording can be done both manually on demand and also using Sched-
uled Recording.
NOTE:
- When DVR function is in progress, DO NOT unplug the power and the external USB device at will
- When DVR function is active,the power indicator will blink with red and green colours consecu-
tively.
- Before the start of a program recording, please make sure the external USB device is connected.
- Pre-recording, if the available storage space is low, a warning message would appear before
recording.

The USB drive has to be formatted before any recording can be done.
WARNING: Ensure that no valuable information is currently stored in the hard disc, as formatting it would
mean that ALL DATA will be ERASED from the memory drive connected to the USB/HDD.
Follow the instructions below to enter the DVR menu and format the USB/HDD:
1. Press the MENU button on the remote
2. Under the Channel tab, select DVR File System and press OK
3. Select disk drive to format
4. Scroll down to Format and press OK
5. Select FAT32 and press OK

Setup the DVR File system before you start recording.
Select Disk: If multiple devices are connected to the unit, select a drive/ location to record the files to.
Note: Unit will always use the first partition (C:) as a default recording partition. If your hard disc drive
contains more than one partition, please make sure to use first partition for recording.
