    AUDIOLINE PMR500 CONNECTION Install 4 x AAA, 1.5v, good quality Alkaline batteries (not supplied) observing correct polarity. SWITCHING UNIT ON/OFF # With unit in OFF mode (ie no legends in display). # Press and hold the button for 2 seconds.

    Any button press, or incoming signal will switch the unit on. MANUAL RECEVING MODE Normally when another PMR 500 calls you, the receiving mode is activated automatically and the conversation will be heard. If this doesn't work you can activate the receiving mode manually by pressing the button for 5 seconds until a beep is heard.
