You should also insert the baking tray on level 1.
The table applies to dishes inserted in a cold oven.
If you are grilling directly on the wire grill, insert the
baking tray on level 1.
Poultry will turn out particularly crispy and brown if you
baste it towards the end of the roasting time with butter,
salted water, the drained fat, or orange juice.
Turn whole poultry after two thirds of the roasting
time.
Pierce the skin of duck or goose under the wings to
enable the fat to run off.
You can grill poultry for an extra 2 to 3 minutes at the
end of the roasting time.
