Engine Oil and Filter Screen
Engine oil quality is a chief factor affec-
ting engine service life. Change the engine
oil when specified by the maintenance
schedule.
NOTE:
Change the engine oil with the engine
*
warm and the scooter on its center
stand to assure complete and rapid
draining.
(1) Oil drain plug
1. Remove the oil filler cap from the
right crankcase cover.
2. Place an oil drain pan under the crank-
case and remove the oil drain plug (1). 1
NOTE:
* The oil filter screen (2) and spring (3) g
will come out when the drain plug is
removed.
