Navigation operation (Destination menu)

MAP DEST

Modifying the destination menu

The "DEST" button helps to set various destinations for path
search and guide.
You can search for destination by using functions such as
Address, POI, Intersection, phone number or previously
stored set points such as Marked Point as destination.
This menu also provides emergency menus for set
destinations such as Hospital, Police Station, Dealership.

Marked point

The Marked points can store up to 100 registered locations.
These can include home location, favorite places, and
destinations you have already registered.
This registered location information can also be modified.
Routes to registered locations can be calculated by touching
the screen. Registering places you visit frequently saves your
time and effort.
Whenever pressing the button, the name of button is changed
to "NAME" or "ENTRY".
You may arrange lists by name or time order.

Address search

If you know the house number (or street, city) of your
destination, you can use it to set a route. Touch if you wish to
first specify the list.
Note
You only need to enter the first few letters, as the program
only searches among the settlements that exist in the given
state or country.
If the name of the settlement is of more than one word, the
searched pattern can be any or the combination of those.
• Erases all entered character.
• Deletes the previous character at the cursor position.
• Inserts a space at the cursor position.
• Changes among number and symbol lists (1,2).
• Confirms the entered name.
Note
When you search (or input) the street name, just input "S".
Full word such as "South" is not supported.
