Preset buttons
Storing and recalling stations
You can easily store up to 6 broadcast stations for later recall
with the touch of a button.
1. Select the band (FM1, FM2, AM) you want to store a
station.
2. Select the desired station by using
3. Touch and hold one of the preset buttons.
The selected preset station has been stored in memory.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to preset other stations.
The next time, if you touch the preset buttons, the station
is recalled from the memory.
Note
• Up to 18 FM stations, 6 for each of the FM bands and 6 AM
stations can be stored in the memory.
• When a new station is stored in the preset button,
the previous preset station is automatically erased.
RDBS (Radio Data Broadcasting System) Display
The RDBS system is capable of transmitting a wide variety of
information in addition to the initial call sign that appears
when a station is first tuned. In normal RDBS operation the
display will indicate the station name, broadcast network or
call letters.
• PS (Program Service name)
• PTY (Program Type)
• RT (Radio Text)
R-TEXT (Radio Text Recognition)
The radio station's information appears on the screen.
1. Touch the "R-TEXT" button.
Radio text appears on the screen.
2. To cancel, touch it again.
Note
Some RDBS stations may not choose to include some of
these additional features. If the data required for the selected
mode is not being transmitted, the R-TEXT button is not
available.
SCAN
Touch the "SCAN" button to automatically search for all
receivable stations on the current band. Pressing the "SCAN"
button once again will stop on the current station.
• ON: Each station is tuned in for 10 seconds in order.
• OFF: Cancels the function.
