Locate the small slot on the side of the remote control. Insert a small slotted screwdriver or equivalent tool into slot and pry the case apart. Replace battery while verifying the correct polarity and then snap case together. © 2010 Directed Electronics. All rights reserved. -

I recently bought a car that has this remote start system. i was told after the car battery was replaced that it stopped working. when you push the fob button the flashers blink 5 times car dose not start. i have not had any luck trouble shooting. and the manual says nothing about resetting the system.
