9 Push on the area marked "h " to
lower and lock the upper unit.
The Front Door can now be
closed.
10 Plug in the power cord and turn the Main Switch on.
After a moment, a "0" will be

displayed for about 6 min.
indicating that charging is taking
place. A "1" indicates that starter
charging has been completed.
If the display alternates between

"E" and "1", it is probably
because the seal was not
removed from the starter
cartridge. Remove the seal and
restart the process by turning
the copier off and on again. If the
display alternates between "E"
and "2", call your service
representative.
