Depending on the frequency of use and the type of cooking, the expected life of carbon fi lters is from 1 to 6 months.

(see diagram) TO REPLACE LIGHT GLOBES 1. - Page 8 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE To maintain effi ciency and reduce fi re risk, the fi lter should be removed every four weeks (maximum) for cleaning. Soak and agitate the fi lter in hot soapy water or washing soda. Rinse, drain, shake well and replace. Do not use caustic solutions or other corrosive agents.
