Setting the Camera
Image and Audio

— Video / Audio Menu

When you click the
Video / Audio
Administrator menu, the submenus of the Video / Audio
menu appear.
Use this menu to perform the camera function settings.
The Video / Audio menu consists of Picture, Video
codec and Audio.

Picture

— Video Settings Tab

Video Settings
Mount type
Select the mount type of the camera.
Ceiling: Select when you mount the camera on a ceiling.
Wall: Select when you mount the camera on a wall.
Table: Select when you use the camera on a table.
Power line frequency
Select when you want to reduce the flicker on images.
Set according to power frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) of
the lighting you use.
Eflip
If you select this, you can display images on the
computer inverted.
OK/Cancel
See "Buttons common to every menu" on page 15.

White balance
Select the White balance mode.

menu in the
ATW: Adjusts the color automatically towards the
original color (approx. 2800 K to 10000 K) which is
hard to be influenced by the illumination.
Fix current value: Select On, the current white balance
is fixed.
Manual: Select this to set RGain and BGain. The gain
value can be in the range 0% to 100%.
Picture
Brightness
Set the brightness. Select high values to make the image
brighter, low values to make the image darker.
Contrast
Set the contrast. Select high values to make the image
contrast stronger, low values to make the image contrast
softer.
Saturation
Set the saturation. Select high values to make the image
color stronger, low values to make the image color
weaker.
Sharpness
Set the sharpness. Select high values to make the image
edges sharper, low values to make the image edges
smoother.

Wide dynamic range

In high-contrast scenes, this function reduces
overexposure and underexposure. Select the checkbox
to enable the wide dynamic range function.
Profile
The profile of the picture setting opens in a new window.
OK/Cancel
See "Buttons common to every menu" on page 15.

Activated period
Select the checkbox and the mode. The setting is
enabled when you select the mode.
