Speaker assembly
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the speaker assembly:
1. Release the tabs (1) built into the bottom case that secure the speaker cable.
2. Remove the four Phillips PM1.4×2.3 screws (2) that secure the speaker assembly to the
bottom case.
3. Remove the speaker assembly (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker assembly.
