Installing the Drivers for the IEEE 1394/Firewire Interface Board (Windows Only)
After installing the interface board in a PCI slot, closing the computer's case, and reconnecting the
cables, turn the computer on and install the board drivers as described below.
Windows 98 SE
Step 1
The first time the computer is powered on with the board in place,
the dialog shown at right will be displayed. Click Next.
Step 2
Select Search for the best driver for your device (Recom-
mended) and click Next.
Step 3
The dialog shown at right will be displayed. After making sure that
none of the options are selected, click Next.
Step 4
Select The updated driver (Recommended) NEC
Firewarden OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller
and click Next.
