Hints, Tips and Testing Results
Xerox testing has shown the following:
These 90 lb Index Docupac Folders are specially made to be
x
x
short grain. When run as detailed above, feeding performance
should be good and will be similar to standard 8.5 x 11" / 216
x279mm / 90 lb Index, but will not equal 24 lb Image Series LX
or 90 g/m
Image quality will be good, but may experience the same
shortfalls (mottle, deletions, etc.) that most heavy-weight papers
display. When running gray or ivory colored Docupacs, true
color reproduction will not be possible due to the base color of
the stock. See the Heavy-Weight Paper section in this guide for
more details.
Two-sided copying/printing with Xerox Docupac Folders is not
recommended. More frequent jams and image quality defects
will be encountered.
If jams occur, manually curling the lead edge down will help to
reduce jamming.
Do not confuse these Xerox Docupac Folders with the heavier
Xerox Docupac Laser Folders. Xerox Docupac Laser Folders are
made from 65 lb recycled paper stock. These may cause poor
image quality.
