Deleting an Audio File from a USB Flash
Drive
Files can be deleted one at a time.
IMPORTANT!
• The procedure below deletes all of the data of the
selected song. Note that the delete operation cannot
be undone. Check to make sure you really do not
need the file in USB flash drive before you perform
the following steps.
1.
Press the
er
(AUDIO RECORDER) button
the required number of times until the button
lamp is lit.
2.
Use the
eo
(–, +) buttons to select the song
you want to delete.
• The
eo
(–) button scrolls through the recorded songs
in order from the newest (most recently recorded) to
the oldest.
• The
eo
(+) button scrolls from the old to the new.
• After selecting a song, you can play it back by
pressing the
cr
(START/STOP) button. Press the
(START/STOP) button again to stop playback.
3.
Press the
em
(ENTER) button.
This will display a confirmation message "SURE?".
• To cancel the delete operation, press the
button.
4.
To delete the file, press the eo (YES) button.
This will delete the file you selected.
NOTE
• The file number of file you delete remains unused.
Recording a new file will cause the file number that
comes after the last file recorded to the USB flash
drive.
