Changing the Backlight Timeout

Enabling Headset Memory Mode

8. To increase or decrease the maximum backlight intensity on the phone's
display, press the Up or Down soft keys.
To increase or decrease the maximum backlight intensity on the expansion
module, press the Up or Down soft keys on the expansion module.
The backlight intensities for the On and Idle modes, as well as the
backlight intensities between each expansion module and the phone's
screen are shown relative to these values.
9. Press the Ok soft key to accept your changes.

You can change the length of time your phone is idle before the backlight
changes to the Backlight Idle Intensity.
To change the backlight timeout:
1. Press
2. Select Settings > Basic > Backlight Timeout.
3. From the Backlight Timeout screen, scroll to the timeout you want, then
press the Select soft key.
The default timeout is 40 seconds.
