Note The icon next to each network indicates the strength of
the signal. For example,
indicates the signal is poor while
indicates the signal is strong.
About network notifications
You are informed by default when a Wi-Fi network is available in your
proximity. The icon
in the Detail settings indicates a network is available.
Deselect Notify me in the Wi-Fi setting menu if you do not want to be
informed of the availability of a Wi-Fi network.
Note When you run an application that uses data, a pop-up window
will appear to encourage you to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Searching for Wi-Fi networks

Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings.

Tap OFF next to Wi-Fi to activate. The icon turns orange when the
function is on.

Tap Wi-Fi.

Tap SCAN. The Marauder
TM
scans networks automatically every six
second. The newly found networks appear on the bottom of the list.
Adding a Wi-Fi network

Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings.

Tap OFF next to Wi-Fi to activate. The icon turns orange when the
function is on.

Tap Wi-Fi.

Tap ADD NETWORK.

Enter the Network SSID and select the security type among None,
WEP, WPA/WPA2 PSK and 802.1x EAP. Aside from None, you must
enter a password for the network.

Tap Save.
Disconnecting a Wi-Fi network

Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings

Tap Wi-Fi.

Tap the network that is connected to the Marauder

Tap Forget to disconnect from the network.
Note You can also disconnect from the Wi-Fi network by pressing
and holding the network and tapping Forget network.
Setting advanced features

Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings.

Tap OFF next to Wi-Fi to activate. The icon turns orange when the
function is on.

Tap Wi-Fi.

Tap B and tap Advanced.
Tap Regulatory domain, and select and tap a channel for the

domain.
Tap Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep and specify when the Marauder
x
should switch from the Wi-Fi network to mobile network.
Tap Avoid poor connections if you do not want to use a Wi-Fi
x
network that has a poor connection.
