Encrypting phone

Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Security >
Encrypt phone.

Read the Encrypt phone screen and tap Encrypt phone. Note that
you can encrypt the phone only when you lock the screen with a PIN
or password.
Setting SIM card lock

Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Security >
Set up SIM card lock.

Tap Lock SIM card and enter the SIM PIN to require a PIN to use the
phone.

Tap Change SIM PIN and enter the old SIM PIN and a new SIM PIN to
change the SIM PIN.
Making the password visible
Tap Apps
from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Security > Make
passwords visible. It is selected by default.
Managing device administrators

from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Security >
Device administrators.
