Adding new information to existing contact

Tap Phone
from the Home Screen.

Enter a telephone number and tap Save in the middle of the screen.

Select and tap a contact to add information.

Enter additional information as needed for the contact.

Tap Add another field to add another field for the contact. Select field
names and tap OK.

Tap Save.
Adding shortcuts to favorite contacts

Tap and hold an the empty space on the Home Screen, or tap B
Widget > Shortcuts.

Select the panel of the Home Screen where you would like to place
the shortcut.

Tap Direct dial.

Select and tap a contact for the shortcut.
Messaging
Sending a new message

Tap Messaging
from the Home Screen.

Tap
on the top-right side of the screen.

Enter a mobile phone number or email address in the To: field. As you
type, matching contacts appear. You can tap a suggested contact or
continue typing. Or tap

Enter a message in the Type to compose field.
5
Tap Send.
Note A failed message remains in the list. To delete it, tap and hold
the message and tap Delete.

Slide open the QWERTY keypad.
