5) Remove hull drain plug and the
engine compartment drain plugs
. Rinse the engine compartment
with a small amount of fresh water.
Be careful not to get water on the
air filter area or electrical compo-
nents. Allow any water in the bilge
to drain out. After the water has
drained, wipe the engine compart-
ment and bilge with dry rags. Rein-
stall all drain plugs.

NOTiCE:
Tighten the hull drain plug
securely before launching the boat.
Clean any foreign material, such as
dirt or sand, from the threads before
installing the drain plug.
6) Spray a rust inhibitor, such as
Yamaha Silicone Protectant and
Lubricant, on metallic parts to
minimize corrosion.
